Charisma cardz DT-card

Hi!

New week, new challenge at Charisma.

It was my turn to choose the theeme this week and I love birthdays.

So it had to be a card and giftbag for the birthday girl/boy.

My doughters friend Sara had her 12 th birthday sept 15 th.
I made this for her and she has the most fantastic red hair.
The stamp is a digi from Mo Manning.

Grattis means Happy birthday in Swedish and this stamp I´ve used a lot!
Got myself some new diecuts. The tag is from Magnolia and the "flower" and oval from Nellie snellen.

The cute little giftbox I found in a number of Magnolia inc.
I´ve made this a lot and it just gets sooo cute when you make a little window in the front.

I filled it with some scrapbooking-goodies.
Hope she´ll like it.



Took my cards to work

Another week soon to an end and I´m looking forward to crafting a lot!

I took my hatbox and filled it up with some goodies and took it with me to my new school.

Mabye someone could find it a bit cute.

 First day I sold 15 and I got myself 7 orders for special cards.

This one I made for Andrea. She´s going to a wedding and I´ve been wanting to make a "shakecard". I put pearls instead of rice in the window. Hope she´ll like it.

Our PE teacher is going to a cristening. I just had to go to the Magnoliastore and have myself a little babystamp...and a Magnolia tag-die.

Crafting for love, not life

This has been a hard decission but I´m stepping down from beeing Dt at creative card crew and One stop challenges. I never in my life thought that I would be a dt member at all when I applied. Instead I got all 3. I´m a hard beliver that what you do you shuld do your very best. I dont really feel I can when I´m in all three. I´ve got a new job, a super job as theacher in a montessorischool near my home. It´s really fun but it takes a lot of time beeing a newbe. I hope you´ll keep visiting me even if I haven´t made many posts theese last couple of weeks. Hope to post something later today.

A friend of mine bought this card for her brothers wedding last week.

I´ve only made 2 weddingcards and now I don´t have any left in my "little box".

Perhaps that´s my mission for today.

DT-card for OSCC

Today it´s time for a new challenge at One stop craft challenges, OSCC.

This time the sentiment is going to be the main focus.

There are so many wonderful sentiments and if you search on google you can find thousends of them.

If you don´t have them as stamps you can allways print them as I did.

This time I used lovely little Tilda from Magnolia to decorate my card.

The blue and pink backgroundpaper, the fence die and the white flowers are also from Magnolia. I was in the Magnolia store just the other day

and it´s tough not to bye too much in that beautiful store!

I want it all!

I coloured with my promarkers and this little cutie has been laying in a box

 ready to be used on a card for months.

Now I finally found the perfect card for her!

No matter how special the card might be,

 my beautiful friends will allways be hundreds of times more special to me.

I just love making theese little gifts for my friends.

Male or female, it doesn´t matter.

A nice card with so much love and time spent on it

will make anybody smile.

I would like to enter this card in theese challenges:

I´ve made a magnetic book.

I love when things are in its wright place, easy to find and to use.

With my dies that´s not the case.

I´ve had them in a little box and you can imagine it´s hard to find the wright one.

I saw a woman on the scrapmarathon who had a book with magnetic pages.

It was just beautiful. I never really understod how she got hold of thoose magnetic thing and I didn´t ask. I asked around and she had used the signs that you have to have on your car when you practice driving. In Sweden we call it Övningskörningsskylt :)

I found a scrappack that i´ve used for this book.

I glued my patterned papers on all sides of my pages.

In this case 4 pages.

I distressed all edges with walnut stain with my inkblending tool.

It has become one of my favorite tools to work with.

After that I cut the magnetic signs in 4 pieces each, 10x11 cm.

I´m only going to use 6 pieces for this album.

Offcourse you can glue patterned papers over the magnetic sign,

but I think that the black surface is ok.

This is how it looks when I put my dies in the book.

I see that I have to make a bigger one as well...

This is the outside when I started decorating it.

I only whanted to use the dies I put in the book as decoration.

Than it´s easy to find witch book you want.

Since it opens quite easily I decited to make a extra "lock".

On the inside of the first page I glued a magnet in the left hand corner.

I decorated it with a flower as it´s not that decorative..

On the back I glued a paper strip, 7-9 cm.

I glued a magnet on there as well and it closes really well.

To make it hold i used my hubbys superglue.

Now it´s done!

Just put thoose little extra details on there and it´s a fantastic book to bring to your scrapevents and show of to your friends.

It can be a good idea to glue things proparly!

DT-card for Creative card crew

Look what a fantastic stamp I got in the mail!
It´s Magnolias large butterfly and it really is huge!

I coloured it with my promarkers and distressed it with walnut stain.

The papers are all from Magnolia as well.

It´s their collection of 6x6 papers.

The doily I distressed with antique linnen and walnut stain.

The challenge this week at creative card crew is

I often make my cards in bright, bold colours but I´m really in love with theese white, beige, cream colours. Thought I would give it a try.

I even got to do the inside of the card!

Not so much space to wright on but...
